Communication

From your first phone call to the first office visit, we’ll be asking questions and listening to learn about you, what you want for your health, and how we can work together to achieve that.

Our practice is based on concierge patient-centered care – you are our focus! When you join our practice, you’re entering into a partnership with us for your long-term dental well-being. We see you as an active participant in charge of your oral health, making decisions, and helping to direct your care.

We will provide you with information about your oral health, help you understand your treatment options, and provide guidance and support for your decisions. And of course, we pride ourselves in doing beautiful quality dentistry during the process!

Personalized Care

Our initial meeting will be focused on getting to know you, explore what’s important to you for oral health, and learn about what you expect from us.

At the start of your visit, we will review your medical/dental history, listen to your concerns, and organize any records you may have from your previous dentist(s) and/or physicians. Then, along with Dr. Lin, you’ll be an active participant in a thorough dental exam that may include photographs, dental x-rays, evaluation of jaw joints, oral cancer/soft tissue screening, and full charting of your teeth and gums.

Depending on the complexity of your dental status, we may review the exam findings and treatment goals for you at the end of the first visit or we may invite you to return for a shorter second appointment for discussion. You’ll have time to review the findings from your exam with us, gain an understanding about what it all means, and look at options for treatment. Dr. Lin will give you recommendations based on your goals – then the decisions are up to you.
